FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions About the Roadmap
- How do I uninstall the Roadmap?
- Mozilla doesn't have an uninstall mechanism for extensions, but you
can hide the roadmap by:
- Hide the Roadmap panels with the "Show/Hide" button on the toolbar
- Hide the toolbar itself by unchecking "Connexions Toolbar"
in the
View -> Show/Hidemenu.
- But the Roadmap is really still there. I want to eliminate it completely. How do I obliterate the Roadmap?
- OK, you asked for it. Exit mozilla, then find and delete the
following in the
chrome/folder of your mozilla installation:chrome.rdf,roadmap.jar, andoverlayinfo/. When you restart mozilla the roadmap will be gone. - When I load a course I can't see any modules in the Course View; I just see white. What's wrong?
- This is a bug that has been fixed in v1.1.2 of the Roadmap. Please upgrade to the latest version.
- Is there a version of the Roadmap for Mozilla Firebird/Firefox?
- Not currently, but as Firefox will be replacing the Mozilla browser component in future releases, we will release a compatible Roadmap soon.
- When I use the Roadmap in Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X, the text and icons in the sidebar seem to be white on white; which make them unreadable. How do I fix this?
- Currently, the only solution is to change the Mozilla theme to
modern. To do this, click on Edit -> Preferences. Find theThemecategory and choosemodern. You may have to close and restart Mozilla for the changes to affect the roadmap.
