cnx.rice.edu upgraded to Zope 2.7
After much preparation we're finally running Zope 2.7
The live site is now running Zope 2.7 after months of testing, bugfixing, retesting, refixing, .... Lots of nice features with Zope2.7, including
- python2.3 support (so we can start using some of those new modules that require 2.3, including RDF parsers)
- nice
zopectlscript for starting/stopping/debugging Zope. I highly recommend checking out debug mode for examining a running Zope process - built-in ZEO
- much easier configuration
Now we start looking into migrating to Plone2....
