We've supported Unicode (UTF-8 really) content for a while now, but putting in international titles and metadata has always caused Zope errors. I finally tracked down a solution: the Placeless Translation Service Product fixes this problem. We don't even have to use the product. Simply having it installed fixed our Unicode woes because PTS MonkeyPatches Zope to make it work. Hopefully, it will be smoother sailing from now. The next thing we need on this front is a language field for modules.
