Connexions provides the means for all kinds of authors both to contribute to an open “Commons” of information and to collaborate with each other.

Connexions has developed an array of new and scalable software to facilitate the ways content is encoded, stored, retrieved, viewed, marked, taught, and edited.

We intend to take Connexions to a critical mass on a global scale and have the means to make this possible.

Both the content and software of Connexions are provided under open licenses that provide for free use, but are also fair, responsible, and legally sound.

The fast-paced development of content in our Commons lends itself to post-publication review, accomplished via Lenses through which the Modules are viewed.

Our free and open Content, array of open-source Software, Vision for growth, fair Intellectual Property practices, and Quality assurance are the intertwined aspects that drive all our work.
