Summary: The inextricable relationship between structure and function is a fundamental property of biological systems. In this mini-course, original data, theory and an historical perspective are used to 1) reveal the relationship between DNA's structure and its function and 2) illustrate the important role accurate quantification played in revealing DNA to be the molecule of inheritance.
