      Definition of a lens

      Lenses

A lens is a custom view of Connexions content. You can think of it as a fancy kind of list that will let you see Connexions through the eyes of organizations and people you trust.

      What is in a lens?

Lens makers point to Connexions materials (modules and collections), creating a guide that includes their own comments and descriptive tags about the content.

      Who can create a lens?

Any individual Connexions member, a community, or a respected organization.

      What are tags? tag icon

Tags are descriptors added by lens makers to help label content, attaching a vocabulary that is meaningful in the context of the lens.

Audio Processing Board for the TMS320F2812 DSP

Module by: Patrick Frantz

Summary: This module gives a technical description for an audio processing daughterboard intended for use with the TMS320F2812 eZdsp kit from Spectrum Digital.

Overview

This module describes an audio signal processing daughtercard that has been designed for use with a Texas Instruments TMS320F2812 DSP. The daughtercard is meant to be used with the corresponding eZdsp kit from Spectrum Digital. This card was designed to teach students about various functions of the TMS320C2000 series of DSPs in a practical setting, and to allow them to perform basic audio experiments. The figure below shows a simplified block diagram of the audio daughtercard, the features of which will be discussed in the next section.
