        This module describes a full-featured development board for the <link xmlns:md="http://cnx.rice.edu/mdml/0.4" xmlns:bib="http://bibtexml.sf.net/" src="http://www.ti.com">Texas Instruments MSP430F16x</link> series of mixed-signal microprocessors. This hardware system was designed to allow students or engineers to fully exercise and explore the capabilities of the MSP430 microcontroller.

        This module is meant to serve as a general technical overview and instruction manual for the development board. The two pictures below show a general block diagram of the development system and a picture of the board that highlights some of the major peripherals.
