Reading Basic Rhythms is a simple game that can help anyone practice reading basic rhythms in musical notation. If you do not already know how to read music, you may want to study the following modules by Kitty Schmidt-Jones before you play this game: Rhythm, Note Lengths, Rest Lengths, Dots, Ties, and Borrowed Divisions, and Time Signature. If you do already know how to read music, you should be aware that, in its current state, the game only includes very basic rhythm in 4/4 time.
