      Lenses

      A lens is a custom view of Connexions content. You can think of it as a fancy kind of list that will let you see Connexions through the eyes of organizations and people you trust.

      What is in a lens?

      Lens makers point to Connexions materials (modules and collections), creating a guide that includes their own comments and descriptive tags about the content.

      Who can create a lens?

      Any individual Connexions member, a community, or a respected organization.

note to teachers:

Students who are very eager to begin studying their favorite style/genre of guitar music may already be working with you on "real music" while they finish up these lessons. Students who have no idea what type of guitar music they are interested in - particularly younger students - can simply start in on your favorites at about this point. Or you may want to urge them to listen to various guitar players and let you know what appeals to them, so that you can have books and a direction of study ready before they finish these lessons.
