      Definition of a lens

      Lenses

A lens is a custom view of Connexions content. You can think of it as a fancy kind of list that will let you see Connexions through the eyes of organizations and people you trust.

      What is in a lens?

Lens makers point to Connexions materials (modules and collections), creating a guide that includes their own comments and descriptive tags about the content.

      Who can create a lens?

Any individual Connexions member, a community, or a respected organization.

The "continuous learning" attitude: embracing your life as your moment-to-moment communication skills classroom.

Module by: Dennis Rivers

Summary: CHALLENGE SEVEN is to adopt the "continuous learning" perspective, which means to look at each day, and even each moment, of your life as an opportunity to communicate more awarely, compassionately and successfully. Make the practices described in Challenges 1 through 6 important parts of your everyday living. Work to redefine each of your “opponents” in life as a learning and problem-solving partner. Help along the processes of change in your life-world by personally embodying the changes, virtues and styles of behavior you want to see in others.
