A lens is a custom view of Connexions content. You can think of it as a fancy kind of list that will let you see Connexions through the eyes of organizations and people you trust.

Chest radiograph of a 32-year-old man with fever and nonproductive cough of two weeks’ duration.

Diffuse infiltrates in the periphery of both lungs, with relative sparing of the perihilar regions, is characteristic of eosinophilic pneumonia. This patient’s total leukocyte count was 18,000/ mm 3 mm 3 size 12{ ital "mm" rSup { size 8{3} } } {} with 20% eosinophils. After a week of corticosteroid therapy alone, his symptoms, radiographic abnormalities, and eosinophilia resolved.
