Task Construct a poster to communicate effectively the viability, attachment, and/or proliferation of Human Dermal Fibroblasts (HDF) in culture conditions. Include results of three or four of your experiments. At least two of the experiments should be of the same type (i.e., attachment, proliferation, viability). The audience for your poster is your technical peers. You may include your partner’s results for the cell attachment assay. You also may do so if your cells died.

Poster Requirements The poster should contain 10-12 8.5”x11” panels (i.e. sheets of paper). Do not mount the panels on an easel or poster board.

Experimental methods (1-2 panels or can be spread out over several panels)

Evaluation of Poster The instructor will evaluate your poster using the Poster Evaluation Form distributed in class. Your poster should be technically strong and visually appealing.

Grades

Draft Poster A draft of the poster must be uploaded to CPR (Calibrated Peer Review) by the deadline. In addition, you must turn in a paper copy of your draft poster to the instructor. The draft poster will count 10% of your final course grade.

Final Poster Provide a paper copy of the final poster panels to your instructor. The final poster will count 20% of your final course grade.
