Summary: This research had as objective to find anthropometric measures of women athletes participating in soccer at its highest level in Brazil. The study was made through analysis of body composition on which measures were taken from height, skin fold (triceps, sub scapular, sub-iliac, and abdomen), and total body composition. The subjects were 24 women soccer players, age ranging from 15-24 years old, professional elite players who represent Santos Futebol Clube – FUPES – PMS. They reached the semi-final games of São Paulo Soccer Federation varsity level in 2007. Once measures were found, they were calculated in several parameters and analyzed to reach the anthropometric profile of women soccer players in São Paulo. The average age was 20.79 (±3.30), because the structure of soccer in the nation does not have a structure specific to women as it happens with their counterparts. Women soccer does not have teams in younger age groups and more and more athletes of younger age participated in varsity championship.
