OBJETIVO

Envolver a los estudiantes en el proceso de internacionalización y conocimiento de otras culturas, haciéndolos partícipes de un programa mundial que comenzó con una historia que se ha convertido en “realidad”. ¿QUÉ SE PUEDE HACER?

  • Se puede comenzar preguntando a los estudiantes si les gustaría conocer a Flat Stanley o si ya lo conocen.
  • En la mayoría de los casos, los estudiantes no conocen nada sobre esta “persona” y se les pide busquen información acerca de dicho personaje y la traigan a la próxima clase.

POSIBLES RESULTADOS

  • Sorpresa total al estudiante enterarse de quién es Flat Stanley y la “vida” que hay detrás de él.
  • Gran ejemplo de creatividad e innovación empresarial: convertir una historia, un cuento en una realidad. Invita a “ser niño” de nuevo y a usar más la curiosidad.
  • Apreciación del uso de Flat Stanley como embajador mundial y su uso creativo para que estudiantes de escuela elemental pongan a viajar a Flat Stanley alrededor del mundo y en el proceso aprendan de otras culturas, etc.
  • Descubrir que se puede viajar todo el mundo y descubrirlo, sin salir de tu casa.
  • Apreciación del mundo global en que vivimos.
  • Ver módulo Evento Internacional y módulo Sitios y Personajes, ambos se pueden conectar al de "Flat Stanley".
