      What is in a lens?

Lens makers point to Connexions materials (modules and collections), creating a guide that includes their own comments and descriptive tags about the content.

      Who can create a lens?

How to Use Yahoo Pipes to do Research in Psychology

Module by: Michael Britt

Summary: Yahoo "pipes" is actually a pretty user friendly little online program which can be very helpful in conducting very focused research. In this video (taken from my podcast) I show you how to use pipes to do a search on some of the most popular psychology blogs. I'll show you how you can copy what I've done and with a few changes you can use what I've already set up in yahoo pipes to conduct your own search of psychology blogs.

Here is a video which will show you how yahoo pipes works and how I used it to search through a collection of popular blogs in psychology. The video is taken from an episode of my podcast, called The Psych Files. The podcast website has a great deal of free educational content and is intended for anyone interested in human behavior. You can also check out more of my episodes on my homepage in iTunes.
