Summary: In this challenge, the primary factory for milk in Paraguay Industrias Lacteas Guarani S.A. just had a power outage for a week and all of their milk has spoiled. They have appealed to your farm to help them meet an emergency order and are willing to pay triple the amount of the going rate for as much milk as your farm can supply them with. They will arrive at your farm ready to pick up the milk in 10 hours.

Description:

In this challenge, the primary factory for milk in Paraguay Industrias Lacteas Guarani S.A. just had a power outage for a week and all of their milk has spoiled. -2 of which have veterinary skills

-4 have worked on a farm for years, they are hard working, efficient and reliable

-2 just arrived on the farm, no experience and they are young and easily distracted

-You are the most experience and most efficient at milking cows

You as the manager have the burden of responsibility and your boss has told you that if you do well then you will be promoted. Your task is to decide who will do which job so you can have the greatest productivity, or do it all yourself because you will get the job done best the first time.

Content

Give students different scenarios in which they have an overall project with many little tasks to perform and a team of people with different abilities to perform. Based on the information in the scenario have them fill out a delegation sheet (link is in open educational resources)
