A man is seen looking up at his long, black hair. In the background is a calendar which reads Annual Haircut Day.

It was the Annual Haircut Day for Sringeri Srinivas.

The long-haired man, Sringeri, is walking from his home to the barber.

Sringeri Srinivas left home as usual to go to the local barber.

The long-haired man is at the barber shop. The barber is cutting a boy's hair, motioning to the man that he is very busy.

But the barber said, "Today, I have no time to cut such long hair!"

The man is walking back home to his wife, looking sad.

Feeling sad, Sringeri Srinivas went back home to ask his wife for help.

The man's wife is busy cooking. Their three children are all gathered around the man's wife, teasing each other.

But his wife said, "Today, I have no time to cut such long hair!"

The man looks angry. He is walking to his friend, who has a needle and thread in hand.

Feeling a little angry, Sringeri Srinivas went to his friend, the tailor.

The tailor is seen at work. He has scissors and is cutting fabric. He looks annoyed and busy.

But the tailor said, "Today, I have no time to cut such long hair!"

The man looks worried. He is walking to his friend. His friend has a hammer and nail in hand.

Now a little worried, Sringeri Srinivas went to one more friend, the carpenter.

The carpenter has a saw in and a stack of wooden furniture behind him. He looks angry toward the long-haired man.

But the carpenter said, "Today, I have no time to cut such long hair!"

The long-haired man is crying. All of his friends are seen in the background-- his wife, the barber, the tailor, and the carpenter.

Poor Sringeri Srinivas. It seemed no one would cut his hair on this Annual Haircut Day.

The long-haired man is crying. He is walking away from houses and toward a forest of trees.

In tears, he walked off by himself past the village forest.

The long-haired man is crying outside a cave. No one else is around.

He sat near a cave and cried loudly.

The long-haired man is crying loudly, throwing his arms up and sobbing.

"The day is nearly over. How can I keep my promise to cut my hair? Oh God, help me!"

A tiger is seen inside the cave. It looks annoyed.

The tiger sleeping peacefully inside the cave was very disturbed by all the noise.

The tiger is pouncing with his claws out and his mouth wide open.

He came out, roaring, waving his giant paws at Sringeri Srinivas.

The tiger is inches away from pouncing on the long-haired man. The long-haired man is standing, looking at the tiger in fear and throwing his arms up.

Poor Sringeri Srinivas was so scared, so scared, so scared that . . .

The long-haired man has an expression of shock on his face and his hair has all suddenly fallen out.

. . . all the hair fell off his head!

Sringeri runs out of the forest very fast back toward the town. The tiger is seen walking away at the edge of the forest.

Sringeri Srinivas ran all the way back to the village. The tiger went back to sleep.

Sringeri has a bald, shiny head now. He is smiling. The barber, the carpenter, Sringeri's wife, and his children, all look on at Sringeri's head, confused.

Now, Sringeri Srinivas will not need a haircut for a very long time.
