A lens is a custom view of Connexions content. You can think of it as a fancy kind of list that will let you see Connexions through the eyes of organizations and people you trust.

Lens makers point to Connexions materials (modules and collections), creating a guide that includes their own comments and descriptive tags about the content.

Who can create a lens?

Any individual Connexions member, a community, or a respected organization.

All of us went to the Dasara fair...

Three children; the one on the left has a pair of star-shaped sunglasses, the one in the middle has a blue cap, and the one on the right has a lollipop.

Papa bought Chintu fancy glasses. Mother bought me a bright blue cap. The baby got sugar candy.

The boy screams as the wind blows the blue cap away.

On the way home, a very strong wind came. It blew my cap away.

The boy with the glasses and the boy who lost the cap look up to see the cap in a tree far above.

My cap got stuck on a branch of the old Pipal tree.

The boy with the glasses sits with an empty plate, while the boy who lost his cap cries without eating his food.

I cried a lot. And I did not eat my dinner.

The boy looks out his window at night, looking at the cap stuck in the tree.

Later that night, the moon came up. It looked at my cap on the old Pipal tree.

The boy looks out his window to see a smiling moon wearing the blue cap.

It tried on my cap. The moon smiled happily. I had to smile too.

The boy smiles at the new red cap that his mother has just handed him.

After school the next day, my mother gave me a shiny new red cap. “The moon sent it,” she said.

The boy stands outside under the tree wearing his red cap, and waves at the moon which is wearing the blue cap.

That night, both the moon and I wore our caps and smiled. We were happy.

The boy with the glasses sips a drink while the boy with the red cap eats a popsicle; he looks up at the sun and has an idea.

Do you think the sun needs a hat?

A game. There are four hats, each with a line coming out of it; the lines criss-cross, and one of them leads to the boy.

Guess which cap I am wearing today!
