VOEDING EN GESONDHEID

In alle wêrelddele is daar mense wat nie gesond is nie as gevolg van verkeerde voeding.

Wanvoeding sluit in te veel of te min voedsel wat lei tot voedingsiektes. Dit kan verdeel word in ondervoeding en oorvoeding.

Ondervoeding :

Te min voedingstowwe, bv. anorexia nervosa of bulimia.

Te min proteïne, bv. kwashiorkor.

Te min vitamiene, bv. skeurbuik en beri-beri.

Oorvoeding:

Te veel van sekere voedingstowwe, bv. vetsug.

Klasaktiwiteit: PLAKKAAT

  • Versamel inligting oor verskeie voedingsiektes – verdeel in groepe en maak 'n plakkaat om sekere siektes aan die klas te verduidelik.
  • Die klas moet ‘n tabel skep en voltooi met die volgende hofies:
  • Naam van siekte
  • Tekort aan
  • Simptome
  • Weefsels geaffekteer
  • Die siektes is soos volg:
  • Skeurbuik
  • Beri-beri
  • Ragitis
  • Pellagra
  • Kwashiorkor
  • Bloedarmoede

  • Bespreek verskillende aspekte van 'n gesonde dieet.
