Dit is belangrik dat leerders weet dat die digtheid van water 1 g/cm3 is. Dit beteken dat 1 liter water 1 kg weeg.

Die assessering soos in die module voorgestel, is belangrik, ook vir die leerder se portefeulje.

TRANSLASIETAAK:

Die volgende stelle lesings is verkry nadat die massa en die volume van water gemeet is:

Gebruik die lesings op bl. 34 om ‘n grafiek op te stel om die verskillende verhoudings aan te dui en die digtheid van water te bereken. (Die digtheid word verkry deur die massa deur die volume te deel.)

KRITERIA VIR DIE ASSESSERING VAN DIE TRANSLASIETAAK:

1. ‘n Geskikte opskrif.

2. Albei asse is korrek gemerk.

3. Skaal vir albei asse is toepaslik.

4. Berekende waarde van die digtheid is korrek.

5. Al die koördinate is korrek geteken.

6. Digtheid is korrek bereken en aangedui (Digtheid: 1 g/ cm3).

Leeruitkomste 2: Die leerder ken, interpreteer en pas wetenskaplike, tegnologiese en omgewingskennis toe.

Assesseringstandaard 2.3: Dit is duidelik wanneer die leerder inligting interpreteer: identifiseer kernidees in die teks, vind patrone in aangetekende data en maak gevolgtrekkings uit inligting in verskeie vorme (prente, diagramme, ens.).

Assesseringstandaard 2.4: Dit is duidelik wanneer die leerder kennis toepas: pas konseptuele kennis toe deur ‘n begrip wat onderrig is met ‘n variasie van ‘n soortgelyke situasie in verband te bring.
