27.1 Rangskik 20 tandestokkies om sewe vierkante te vorm (sien skets). Skuif drie vuurhoutjies sodat slegs vyf vierkante van dieselfde grootte oorbly.

27.3 Trek die volgende stukke van ’n tangram oor op folio en knip dit netjies uit (of gebruik ’n tangram as julle een in die klas het).Gebruik al die stukke en bou ’n kat op soveel verskillende maniere as wat jy kan.

Leeruitkomste 1:Die leerder is in staat om getalle en die verwantskappe daarvan te herken, te beskryf en voor te stel, en om tydens probleemoplossing bevoeg en met selfvertroue te tel, te skat, te bereken en te kontroleer.

Assesseringstandaard 1.8: Dit is duidelik wanneer die leerder hoofberekeninge doen wat kwadrate van natuurlike getalle tot minstens 102 en derdemagswaardes van natuurlike getalle tot minstens 53 behels.
