A lens is a custom view of the content in the repository. You can think of it as a fancy kind of list that will let you see content through the eyes of organizations and people you trust.

How to access Yoza

  • To read Yoza stories go to: www.yoza.mobi OR
  • Mxit > Tradepost > Mxit Cares > mobiBooks > Yoza
  • Follow them on Facebook – search for “Yoza Cellphone Stories”
  • Login: you can create a user account which enables you to browse by genre, as well as comment on stories and vote
  • Cost: about 8c a chapter, or about R1.50 a story

Cellphone stories available

  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “view all stories” for the full list of available stories OR
  • Click on “Yoza Classics” also at the bottom of the page, to view the list of classics from Shakespeare

Interface interaction

  • Readers are able to leave comments after each chapter of the books, which promotes reader interaction with the text and other readers

Writing your own stories for Yoza

  • At the bottom of the page, click on the link “Calling all writers”
  • It explains how you can submit your own stories to be published on the site
  • The copyright is Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike license
  • By reading the Yoza manifesto it explains the kinds of stories they publish and how to write for them
