Rice University Press

After closing its doors in 1996, Rice University Press re-emerged as a digital press thanks in part to Connexions. RUP leveraged the power of Connexions to cut distribution and warehousing costs in order to feature valuable academic works that would normally be too expensive or specialized to publish through traditional models. Rice University Press ceased operations on September 30, 2010; however, selected books are still available on the web via Connexions at no cost, with print-on-demand copies available for purchase through QOOP.

The Rice University Press lens features all of their publications - such as Flowering Light and Houston Reflections - on one easy-to-navigate page.
