John Bosco is an attorney licensed to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey as well as in various Federal courts. He is a partner in the law firm of Bosco, Bisignano & Mascolo, Esqs. LLP. His legal career has been devoted to litigating claims arising out of the relationship between those who inflict and those who suffer injury. The infliction of personal injury knocks the scales of justice out of balance. Bosco and his law firm attempt to put the scales of justice back into balance by asking our Courts of Justice to hold those who inflict injury accountable.
Our society has achieved a modus vivendi by which we co-exist. Those who suffer injury have renounced in-kind retaliation - an eye for an eye; a tooth for a tooth. In exchange for the forbearance of those who suffer injury, society has substituted compensation - the cash equivalent of the eye, tooth or other personal injury - as the means to bring the scales of justice back into balance. The cruelty of in kind retaliation has been purged from our system of justice in favor of a gentler system of compensation: monetary restitution instead of violent retribution.
Bosco goes after those who inflict injury on behalf of those who suffer injury to make sure that the balance of justice between them is restored. Liability insurance companies do not really care whether the scales of justice are brought back to balance. They want to pay as little as possible regardless of whether the amount is sufficient to put justice back into balance. This is unfair to society because, when justice is left out of balance, disharmony erupts. Fair and adequate compensation is the safety valve that releases from the body politic the pressure of passion that builds up when injury is inflicted. Bosco makes sure liability insurance companies pay the full debt created by the negligent infliction of personal injury. Bosco has tried many cases before juries and judges in various areas of law from Delaware to New York. He is a graduate of Monsignor Farrell H.S. on Staten Island, New York, Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire and Brooklyn Law School.
Bosco teaches a pre-law class to seniors at Monsignor Farrell H.S.
