Biography:

Angus J. MacNeil, Ph.D.

Angus MacNeil is Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at the University of Houston. Prior to beginning his professorial career at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, the Canadian born and reared MacNeil served for twenty-five years in the public schools of Nova Scotia, twenty-one of these as a school administrator. He was a principal in five schools including middle schools and rural high schools and two large urban high schools. His major research interest is the principalship and the relationships principals need to improve student learning and achievement.

He received his Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina.
