Biography:

PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford in 1965.

Faculty member at Rice for 40 years.

visiting faculty member at Erlangen and MIT.

Have served as college master, department chair, dean, etc.

Have taught DSP for 35 years. Served on Board of Governors of the IEEE Signal Processing Society. Fellow of the IEEE and AAAS, member of ASEE. Published 4 books and over 200 papers. Involved in Connexions since its beginning.
