Biography:

I am a professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with teaching and research interests in signal processing, communications, and applications of these. I have been an avid fan of and contributor to Connexions ever since I first learned about it, and also an active recruiter of new authors; I received the Connexions 2003 Author of the Year award, largely for persuading others to help me write a Connexions-based DSP Laboratory textbook that we use in our ECE 420: DSP Laboratory course at the University of Illinois.
